LOTSA TALK: That's what there is about Billy Friedkin's movie, "Cruisin'," which will star Al Pacino and explores the intricacies of male homosexual society. Many feared that it would be an exploitive, anti-gay, anti-human movie. Instead, director-screenwriter Friedkin has fashioned an entirely new story from Gerald Walker's novel, using only the premise and title.
Pacino will play the policemen who is set up as a decoy for a killer, and the camera will move through the streets of New York in a kind of sexual odyssey. Shooting begins July 2 and will all be done on location with no sets, just like Friedkin's successful "The French Connection."
